Job Description:
Position Summary:
Kemper Therapy Group is seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. This is a outpatient clinic setting. The PT will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating gross motor disorders/delays in a diverse client population. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and have a strong desire to help clients achieve their full potential. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards. Educate patients and their families on care plans, exercises, and strategies for managing their conditions effectively. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Physical therapy license in the state of South Carolina. (DPT) Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and care plan development for diverse patient populations. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physical therapy treatments. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating compassion and empathy towards patients. $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
