Position Overview Lexington Health Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high‑quality, evidence‑based physical therapy services in a collaborative outpatient setting. This role supports patients across the lifespan and works closely with referring physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver individualized plans of care.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services upon referral Conduct comprehensive evaluations including range of motion, muscle testing, functional assessments, and neurological testing Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Administer therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with departmental standards Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support coordinated care Supervise physical therapist assistants and participate in student instruction Participate in departmental meetings, in‑services, and professional development activities
Patient Population:
This outpatient role includes treatment of: Orthopaedic and sports‑related injuries Post‑surgical rehabilitation needs Pain management cases Balance and mobility concerns Patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics Clinic Capabilities Lexington Health Physical Therapy practices offer a comprehensive range of outpatient therapy services, including: Customized treatment planning Manual therapy Dry needling Therapeutic exercise programs Heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation At‑home prevention and mobility techniques Close collaboration with Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Graduate of an APTA‑approved program (or equivalent) Licensed Physical Therapist in South Carolina Current CPR certification New graduates are welcome to apply Benefits Benefits begin on the first day of employment and include: Medical, dental, and life insurance Health care and dependent care FSAs 403(b) retirement plan with dollar‑for‑dollar match up to 6% Employer‑paid life insurance and disability coverage Tuition reimbursement Student loan forgiveness Adoption assistance and more!
