Job Description

Total Balance Therapy is an outpatient orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapy clinic with focus on one-on-one patient care. We only see one patient per hour so that we can provide t he best care possible. We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team and work with patients to help them meet their personal and functional goals. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the scope of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation practices. New graduates from a Doctor of Physical Therapy program will receive mentoring during the transition into management of a full clinical caseload. All therapists receive support for professional growth. Responsibilities Identify and meet patients' goals and needs Offer treatments that help improve clients' motion and mobility Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Consult and practice with other health professionals Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress Document patient care services Skills Proven work or clinical experience as a physical therapist Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Current knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Creative, positive attitude and personality Ability to work with a team to provide holistic patient care Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid license to practice physical therapy Pelvic floor training not required for this position. Pelvic floor and/or orthopedic therapists are welcome to apply.

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
