1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring at least 1-2 years of experience treating stroke and spinal cord injury patients. Details Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 50 beds Unit specializes in stroke and spinal cord injury rehabilitation Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients Common diagnoses include stroke, debility, orthopedic, and cardiac conditions Patient treatment ratio of 6.5 hours per day Uses Pinpoint and UDS Pro Doc for documentation Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Weekend hours available on request No floating required Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of PT experience required BLS certification required (AHA) License required if applicable Compact license eligible state IPR experience preferred Must work well within a team environment Social security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provides individualized rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury Any scrub color accepted Candidates must not reside within 60 miles of the facility Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
