1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment offering 5x8 day shifts.

Details Setting:

outpatient clinic with some acute care exposure

Schedule:

day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Patient population includes orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary cases Treats conditions such as post-op joint replacements, spinal conditions, sports injuries, and developmental delays Utilizes modalities including E-stim, ultrasound, traction, and moist heat Charting system experience required, any EMR accepted; Altera experience preferred Requirements Current BLS certification required 2 years of outpatient experience required Dry Needling and Manual Therapy certifications preferred Community hospital experience preferred License required if applicable Experience with adaptive devices, gait training, and wound/skin assessment preferred Familiarity with pediatric equipment such as orthotics and adaptive devices is a plus Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, and discharge documentation across outpatient and acute settings Completes non-billable orientation modules averaging 6-8 hours during onboarding Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with no exceptions for positive results Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could affect drug screening results Clinicians must complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting the offer or provide a completion plan Previous permanent staff must have a 1-year gap before returning as a traveler Local candidates are not accepted for this position Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for the travel rate First-time travelers may be considered if they have relevant outpatient or acute care experience
