9544424-79836 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract position as a part-time, school-based Physical Therapist for the 2026/2027 academic year. In this impactful role, you'll work with a diverse population of Special Education students ages 322, ensuring their educational experience is accessible, engaging, and tailored to their individual needs.

Key Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Texas Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with completed fieldwork Valid drivers license Adherence to the ethical standards of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct physical therapy services across a range of school environments, including classrooms, playgrounds, and virtual settings Support referral, assessment, and goal development processes for students Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing assessment feedback and instructional recommendations Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support standards-based IEP goals and transition services Recommend and support the use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment Maintain thorough and timely documentation Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and a commitment to professional growth Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education This contract offers part-time hours, with the schedule to be determined based on school and caseload needs.
