1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience to join a Level II trauma center's rehab team in Denton, TX. Details 205-bed Level II trauma center with a Physical Therapy department of 20 PTs and 12 OTs Day shift schedule, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Patient load of approximately 12 patients per day Standard mobility and ADL-focused treatment Uses Meditech EMR Floats to cover all areas of the hospital Requires coverage of one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) every week during the contract Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience, including acute care experience (clinical rotations while in school accepted) Experience with complex trauma and complex neuro patients preferred Active PT license in the state of Texas required (license required if applicable) Strong accountability and ability to work autonomously Additional Information Responsibilities focus on standard mobility and ADL treatment for a trauma-heavy patient population Hunter green scrub attire required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
