Job Description
Overview We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team on a flexible schedule part-time basis. Choose your own days of the week to work and hours to work up to 20 hours a week - or less if preferred. The option to work alternating weeks is also possible. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient orthopedics. This role involves developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients across different age groups. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and needs. Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance patient recovery. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices, anatomy knowledge, and relevant healthcare systems. Requirements Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program preferred but not essential. Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy principles. Experience in outpatient settings preferred. Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Bilingual in Spanish an advantage. Commitment to providing compassionate care while promoting patient independence.
