Qualifications BLS Certification Driver's License Physical Therapy License Full Job Description Role & Responsibilities:
The Home Health Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions within an interdisciplinary environment. They are accountable for program development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and enhancing productivity in a flexible team setting.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Requires a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) after 2015; a Bachelor's degree is acceptable prior.
Experience:
Varies in years and type of experience, with preferences indicated.
Licenses & Certifications:
Must hold a valid Texas Physical Therapist license, Basic Life Support (BLS), auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation. A Texas driver's license is required.
Other Requirements:
Must obtain licensure and certifications within 90 days of hire.
Key Duties & Skills:
Provide assessment, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions. Contribute to interdisciplinary team efforts, program development, and quality initiatives.
