Lamesa Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab is growing and if you are looking to use your clinic skills, enjoy a sports therapy setting, and make lifelong relationships with your patients, this place has it all! Plus our PTs work 36 hours per week! Lamesa Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab is a rapidly expanding outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lamesa TX. We serve as a hub for the rural communities in Dawson, Martin, Gaines, Borden, Howard, Terry, and Lynn counties. Our clinic serves a variety of orthopedic conditions using multiple treatment methods. Our patients range from post-TKA and post-rotator cuff repair to chronic back pain, recreational fitness enthusiasts, and high school athletes. We utilize aquatic therapy, sports therapy, virtual visits, cutting-edge modalities, and have a heavy emphasis on manual therapy. We love working with students and new grads to welcome the next generation of healthcare. Our current physical therapists are happy to mentor new PTs as needed to grow and refine the skills you have learned in school. Responsibilities Identify and meet patients' goals and needs Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care Consult and practice with other health professionals Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress Document patient care services Skills Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Current knowledge of treatment practices Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid licence to practice physical therapy Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy
