Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Discover an exciting contract opportunity for a skilled Physical Therapist eager to make a difference in a school-based setting near Lewisville, TX. This position allows you to bring your passion for helping students thrive both academically and physically. As an integral member of a collaborative educational team, you will help foster improved mobility, motor development, and functional independence for students requiring PT services.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current license as a Physical Therapist Experience or strong interest in school-based physical therapy Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families Ability to collaborate with other professionals to create effective treatment plans Motivated, adaptable, and ready to embrace new challenges
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students Implement evidence-based PT interventions and document progress Participate in IEP meetings, providing progress reports and recommendations Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents/guardians to optimize student outcomes Contribute to developing and maintaining a safe, inclusive school environment Support students in achieving greater independence in classroom and campus activities This contract position offers flexibility and the chance to work with a welcoming, multidisciplinary school team.
