Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs, including evaluating physiology and anatomy knowledge. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clinical documentation standards and best practices in physiotherapy. Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics interventions, neurology treatments, and geriatrics care to facilitate patient rehabilitation. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to coordinate patient care and discharge planning. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and medical terminology documentation to ensure compliance with clinical standards. Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, home exercises, and community resources to support ongoing recovery. Manage discharge planning processes for inpatient and outpatient cases while ensuring seamless transitions between care settings. Support patients across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, neurology, and home & community care environments. Experience Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient units or home health settings. Demonstrated expertise in outpatient rehabilitation center environments with a focus on patient care and client communication. Strong background in acute care experience with familiarity in hospital workflows and inpatient treatment protocols. Knowledge of physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedic interventions, neurorehabilitation strategies, and geriatrics care. Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation purposes. Familiarity with clinical documentation standards related to physiotherapy practice including treatment plan development and progress notes. Ability to work effectively with geriatric patients as well as pediatric populations in outpatient or community-based settings.
