9686043-77471 Job Description Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity providing physical therapy support for K-12 students across the southwest Houston area. This is a full-time, on-site position working with a diverse caseload alongside a dedicated therapy team. Utilize your expertise to empower students across up to 50 campuses within the district, ensuring they receive essential services to succeed in their academic journey.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license required; highly qualified PTA candidates with extensive school or pediatric experience will be considered. Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred. Must not have any prior employment or termination history with the district. Successful completion of Texas state fingerprinting and background check (preference if already on file). Familiarity with Frontline and SuccessEd documentation systems a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills, and comfort with traveling between campuses. Ability to work collaboratively with another PT, sharing a caseload of 160 students (with 50 receiving direct services).

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy interventions to students in K12, supporting both direct and consultative services. Manage documentation and progress reporting using district-approved systems. Split caseload responsibilities with a fellow PT for optimal service delivery. Use district office as a home base and travel to assigned campuses as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with staff, educators, and families. Maintain professional compliance with all state and district regulations.
