The Physical Therapist provides medically prescribed therapy to alleviate pain, restore function, assess, and prevent disability resulting from disease, injury, or amputation. They develop individualized treatment plans using physical means like exercise, massage, manual therapy, heat, water, light, and electrical modalities, following physician directives.
