Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, acute care facilities, and home health environments. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to perform trigger point therapy and other therapeutic techniques. Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide direct patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities. Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols within the clinical environment. Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field from an accredited program. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential. Experience or familiarity with outpatient, acute care, inpatient settings preferred. Skills in trigger point therapy and patient care techniques are highly desirable.
