The assignment runs ASAP through late May 2027, offering stable, meaningful work across multiple campuses.
Skills & Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Texas (active status required) Open to experienced PTAs with significant school or pediatric background Full availability for a 37.5-hour workweek Experience with K12 students, providing both direct and consultative services Familiarity with school-based therapy documentation platforms, especially Frontline and SuccessEd Must pass state fingerprinting and school district background check Candidates must not be former employees of the district or have prior terminations from any school district (affidavit required)
Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of 160 students (50 direct services), shared between two PTs Deliver physical therapy services at multiple sites; use district office as a home base and travel to assigned schools Complete required documentation on provided platforms Collaborate closely with educators and families to maximize student outcomes Support students across a broad K12 age range Adhere to district policies, including all time-sensitive credentialing requirements
