Job Description

This position is for a skilled nursing facility in Lakeway, which has both short-term and long-term patients. Vista Ridge Senior Care has an in-house therapy team with smaller daily case loads, all new equipment, and an emphasis on optimizing time with patients. We are dedicated to creating a family-like atmosphere for our residents, and our employees look forward to coming to work and delivering the highest quality of healthcare services possible. Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Physical Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients. Provide supervision, as needed, for staff Physical Therapy Assistants in delivery of the PT plans of care. Assist as needed with patient screenings for the need for Physical Therapy. Communicate progress and any barriers toward PT goals with interdisciplinary team members. Complete timely PT documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirements. Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods. Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each PT patient's specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.

Current Texas licensure as a PT is required New grads welcome to apply!
