Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the quality of life for diverse patient populations. In this energetic role, you will develop personalized treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, and deliver exceptional patient care across various settings. Your expertise will help patients regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals through evidence-based physiotherapy practices. Responsibilities Assess patients' physical conditions by conducting comprehensive evaluations of their mobility, strength, and functional abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patients' needs, medical conditions, and recovery objectives. Deliver hands-on therapy techniques including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and therapeutic exercises to promote healing and improve function. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes and ensure safety. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems according to clinical documentation standards. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and discharge planning. Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on home exercises, community resources, and ongoing care strategies to support long-term recovery. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and related medical terminology. Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans for diverse patient populations including geriatric patients and pediatric clients. Experience with outpatient rehabilitation center operations and outpatient clinic workflows. Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation. Excellent client communication skills with an emphasis on compassionate patient care and education. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and working collaboratively with healthcare teams on complex cases. Knowledge of physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and physiotherapy modalities to enhance treatment effectiveness. Ability to work effectively in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home & community care environments while adhering to clinical standards. $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
