•Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive rehabilitative services to patients across various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, and community health environments. This role involves developing personalized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapies, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations, patient goals, and best practices in physiotherapy. Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and exercise programs tailored to patient needs. Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal recovery. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems following clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and community resources for ongoing support. Manage discharge planning processes by assessing readiness for transition to home or community care settings. Assist in outpatient rehabilitation center operations by maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols. Support patients with diverse conditions such as orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
Requirements:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Current Utah Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain a Utah license. Strong clinical skills with the ability to treat patients across the lifespan and a broad range of diagnoses. Ability and interest in working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary healthcare setting. Commitment to providing culturally responsive care to underserved and tribal populations.
Preferred:
2+ years of experience practicing physical therapy. Experience or familiarity with Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) . Experience working with patients experiencing persistent or chronic pain. Experience working with or providing care to Native American communities. Interest in serving underserved and rural populations. Pay:
$82,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
