Description Position Overview Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our specialized outpatient orthopedic practice in Annandale, Virginia. This full-time role focuses on enhancing patient mobility, functionality, and overall quality of life through personalized rehabilitation strategies. You will provide hands-on treatment and exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring they recover as partners in their own health journey. About the Organization At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we prioritize high-quality care and personal attention for our patients. Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is designed to support a wide range of rehabilitation services. We accept primarily private medical insurance to offer our patients access to the specialized care they need. Our team consists of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), all committed to providing exceptional patient service and outcomes. Work Environment Your role will be onsite at our Annandale facility, where you will work within a collaborative team in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while catering to the needs of our patients. Our facility incorporates the latest technology and treatment methodologies to facilitate effective rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's unique goals and needs. Incorporate evidence-based treatment techniques to develop customized care plans. Serve 2-3 patients per hour, implementing cost-effective treatment strategies that enhance mobility and reduce reliance on medications. Educate patients about their condition and involve them in setting recovery goals. Design and implement fitness and wellness-oriented programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall health. Motivate and guide patients during therapy sessions to optimize functions and improve their outcomes. Communicate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Document all patient interactions and progress accurately in compliance with EMR software, preferably using WebPT. Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients, which includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. Your role is pivotal in assisting these patients in regaining their function and enhancing their quality of life through professional rehabilitation and personalized care. Qualifications A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution. Active Virginia Physical Therapist License without any board actions or disciplinary issues. Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans that yield measurable patient outcomes.
