Work Environment This position is set in a home care environment where Physical Therapists apply their expertise directly in patients' residences. You will work alongside various healthcare professionals to foster a collaborative and enriching atmosphere for both your colleagues and patients. Our practice emphasizes flexibility and adaptability, allowing you to tailor your approach to the unique situations and needs of each patient you encounter. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, providing a balanced work-life relationship. Key Responsibilities In this role, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks: Conduct initial evaluations by reviewing patients' medical histories, performing specialized assessments, and developing customized treatment plans. Communicate findings clearly with patients and their families, collaboratively setting achievable goals that resonate personally with each individual. Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient presentations and continuously assess effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary. Participate in interdisciplinary consultations with other health professionals, identifying changes in patients' conditions that may necessitate modifications to their care plans. Document all aspects of patient care punctually and accurately, including evaluation findings, daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards. Maintain organizational timelines and productivity metrics, which support both personal and departmental objectives. Engage in community networking and marketing initiatives to raise awareness and extend access to our services. Pursue ongoing education opportunities to enhance your professional skills and maintain licensure requirements while assisting in the training of student interns. Support strategies that enhance the patient experience and actively participate in initiatives aimed at maximizing access to care. Patient Population / Client Focus As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the chance to make a profound impact on patients' lives, assisting them in regaining their independence and improving their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation strategies. Qualifications The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. A valid state license for Physical Therapy as required by regulatory authorities. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families. Preferred Experience While prior work experience is not essential, any background in orthopedic rehabilitation or home care settings will be considered a plus. Candidates with strong organizational and time management skills will excel in this role. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position isUSD 100,000
