The Role The clinic is hiring a Physical Therapist for a general outpatient caseload. Compensation and benefits are negotiable based on experience and skill, so strong candidates should not screen themselves out on the posted rate. Relocation and Housing A $5,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance are both available, and the relocation money is paid even if you do not incur relocation costs. The practice also assists with housing. One featured option is a three-bedroom rental with a private dock and deep-water access at $2,000 per month. Compensation and Benefits Physical Therapists start at $45 per hour, with rates negotiable. Benefits include health and vision plus dental with the employer covering seventy percent of the employee premium, a managed IRA or 401(k) with an employer match up to three percent of annual salary, three weeks of PTO for new graduates or four weeks for experienced therapists plus one additional day per year of employment, and up to $1,500 per year in continuing education reimbursement. Responsibilities Assess patients' physical conditions by evaluating their mobility, strength, flexibility, and functional abilities using comprehensive clinical techniques. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy practices to meet individual patient goals. Perform therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities to facilitate recovery. Manage discharge planning and coordinate care with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient transitions across settings. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with medical terminology standards and electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other specialists to optimize patient rehabilitation outcomes. Work with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, neurology cases, orthopedics, and patients requiring home & community care services. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital settings, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices. Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and patient needs. Experience working with geriatric patients and familiarity with discharge planning procedures. Proficiency in clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems). Excellent client communication skills with the ability to motivate and educate patients throughout their rehabilitation process. Background in outpatient rehabilitation center experience or inpatient hospital experience is highly preferred.
