Position Overview Med Fit Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Chantilly, Virginia. Work Environment This full-time position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Chantilly, Virginia. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured environment that promotes work-life balance. You will join a team of skilled healthcare professionals dedicated to providing individualized care in a supportive and dynamic setting. Key Responsibilities Provide customized physical therapy services to patients, carefully assessing their individual needs and developing personalized treatment plans. Maintain an appropriate patient load to ensure that each patient receives optimal attention and care, dedicating sufficient time to address their goals. Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to guide patients through effective rehabilitation protocols and exercises. Implement cost-effective treatment strategies focused on enhancing mobility and restoring function while minimizing reliance on surgical interventions and medications. Develop comprehensive care plans that leverage evidence-based practices and innovative treatment techniques. Conduct thorough evaluations of patient progress, continuously monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Encourage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, promoting adherence to prescribed exercises and healthy lifestyle changes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for patients. Document care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating seamless communication among the care team. Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities to stay current with industry advancements and enhance treatment outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus The patients you will work with primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse clientele also encompasses athletes seeking performance enhancement as well as individuals pursuing mobility recovery due to work-related injuries. Your role is vital in helping them regain strength, flexibility, and confidence in their physical abilities. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification. Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with a clean record, free from sanctions or board proceedings. Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and modalities. Experience in creating and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs. Proficient in utilizing EMR software, specifically Web PT, for documentation and patient management. Strong background in evidence-based physical therapy practices supported by current research. Preferred Experience Previous clinical experience in outpatient therapy settings is preferred. Experience working with sports medicine or rehabilitation is a plus. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
