Key Responsibilities As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Bear Lake PT Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to assess their functional limitations and disabilities. Developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and each patient's unique needs. Utilizing clinical judgment to provide comprehensive evaluations that incorporate input from the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team members. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and charged services in compliance with applicable laws and professional standards. Supervising support staff, including physical therapy aides, while providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality patient care. Participating in community outreach activities and program development initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of physical therapy and our services. Engaging in professional development through ongoing education, training, and participation in staff meetings to enhance competencies. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work closely with a diverse patient population, providing care to individuals of varying ages and cultural backgrounds. Your role will be vital in addressing the specific orthopedic needs of patients, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Valid State License in Physical Therapy. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in an orthopedic setting or those who have completed internships in outpatient care will be strongly preferred.
