Position Overview Reliant Rehab Services LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our expanding team in Herndon, Virginia. Work Environment This role will be based at our outpatient office in Herndon, Virginia. The work schedule consists of Monday through Friday, with 40 hours per week dedicated to patient care. You will be immersed in an upbeat and collaborative setting where teamwork and patient welfare drive everyday operations. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and functional abilities. Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, incorporating a range of therapeutic techniques and interventions. Administer evidence-based orthopedic treatments and rehabilitation protocols, delivering care that aligns with the physician's plan. Provide education and training to patients and caregivers about injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies. Maintain meticulous records of patient progress, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and foster a supportive care environment. Strive to meet professional performance benchmarks and contribute to practice growth through effective service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients, which includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. Additionally, you may encounter patients in pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine categories, providing a diverse caseload that allows for varied clinical experience. Qualifications Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program. Current state license in Physical Therapy. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and word processing applications. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to building positive patient relationships. Preferred Experience A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is recommended to enhance clinical knowledge and competencies. Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting will be beneficial in adapting quickly to our practice's operational standards and care philosophies. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging fromUSD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, reflecting experience and expertise.
