Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery, identifying specific therapeutic goals based on their individual needs. Develop and implement customized treatment plans using a variety of techniques, such as exercise regimens, manual therapy, and modalities targeted to relieve pain and enhance mobility. Regularly document each patient's progress, treatment response, and any necessary modifications to ensure ongoing improvement aligned with their therapeutic objectives. Collaboration with healthcare teams to provide training for patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring they understand the treatment processes and can assist in rehabilitation at home. Stay current with industry practices and advancements by participating in continuing education workshops, professional society events, and networking opportunities. Patient Population / Client Focus The patients you will treat at Joint Ventures Physical Therapy encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and conditions, including orthopedic disorders, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and more. This role requires you to adapt your approach based on the unique needs of each patient, ensuring a tailored connection that facilitates their healing journey. The facility caters to both children and adults, making versatility and a broad skill set essential for success. Qualifications A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy or a related field. A valid CPR certificate. Preferred Experience Experience working in a rehabilitation facility, showcasing an understanding of diverse treatment modalities and patient care techniques.
