Position Overview Amarante Orthopedic Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and dynamic full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Leesburg, Virginia. As a vital member of our orthopedic practice, you will engage with patients to restore their mobility and enhance their overall functional capacity. Our modern 5,000 square foot outpatient clinic is well-equipped to handle a variety of orthopedic conditions. We primarily accept private health insurance, ensuring our patients receive the care they need without financial barriers. Our mission is to empower patients through effective rehabilitation, preventive care, and wellness strategies. Work Environment The physical therapist will work onsite in our outpatient office setting where collaboration is key. You will be part of a small, close-knit team including one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and two other experienced physical therapists. Our supportive environment fosters the sharing of insights and techniques, promoting professional development and enhanced patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients' needs and goals, developing dynamic and effective treatment plans accordingly. Manage a caseload of two to three patients per hour, ensuring efficient and quality care. Utilize evidence-based practices to provide therapies that enhance patients' mobility, flexibility, and overall physical performance. Incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise prescriptions. Design and implement wellness programs that not only address rehabilitation but also promote long-term health and fitness. Encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles through improved coordination, strength, and balance. Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient services and progress, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as WebPT. Regularly assess treatment effectiveness and adjust therapeutic strategies to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic primarily serves clients dealing with a variety of orthopedic conditions requiring rehabilitation. You will have the opportunity to treat diverse patient demographics, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals with chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your ability to adapt treatment strategies will be pivotal in achieving the best results for each person you work with. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Valid Virginia Physical Therapist License that demonstrates compliance with state regulations, with no board or disciplinary actions. Strong foundational skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription. Proficiency in using EMR software including WebPT, to streamline patient management processes. Preferred Experience Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, where you have developed the skills necessary to effectively interact with patients managing various musculoskeletal issues. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from
USD 90,000
to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
