Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Valera, you will: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting pain relief, increased mobility, and enhanced functional capabilities, in accordance with physician directives. Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients' physical condition and function using advanced diagnostic and prognostic techniques. Direct and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to established care plans, providing guidance in the execution of therapeutic exercises. Participate actively in interdisciplinary care meetings, contributing insights and expertise for collective goal setting and program enhancement. Monitor client progress meticulously, documenting responses to therapy and making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies in consultation with healthcare team members. Instruct clients and their families on the use of therapy aids, guiding them through recommended exercises and safety protocols. Prepare and submit clinical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies. Continuously evaluate the home environment for client safety, recommending modifications and resources that foster independence. Patient Population / Client Focus This role centers around a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that impact mobility and daily life activities. Our clients range from elderly patients seeking rehabilitation post-surgery to younger individuals requiring specialized care for athletic injuries. Valera Physical Therapy prioritizes a personalized approach, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each client. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid PT license in Virginia. A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, with a background in both acute and home care settings preferred. Current CPR certification and eligibility for insurance credentialing. A demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and integrity, with a desire to engage compassionately with clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from
