Position Overview Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Leesburg, Virginia. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in our outpatient practice, helping patients restore movement, regain function, and enhance their quality of life. Your expertise will guide patients through a personalized journey toward recovery, with a focus on evidence-based care and holistic approaches to rehabilitation. About the Organization At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we specialize in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy, providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Our 5,000-square-foot state-of-the-art sports medicine facility is equipped with advanced technology and resources to support optimal patient care. We are proud of our commitment to delivering high-quality therapeutic services, primarily accepting private medical insurance carriers to facilitate accessible healthcare for our clientele. Our collaborative team comprises two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for both our patients and staff. Work Environment The practice is situated in a vibrant community in Leesburg, Virginia, offering an inviting, friendly atmosphere where you can deliver quality care. We operate exclusively onsite, from Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. Our facility is not only spacious but also designed to foster an engaging and efficient healing experience for all patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify patients' goals and needs, developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific conditions. Provide therapy to 2-3 patients per hour, delivering focused, one-on-one sessions that prioritize their recovery and rehabilitation. Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including hands-on manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to improve patient mobility and reduce pain. Implement evidence-based treatment interventions that aim to enhance function and reduce the necessity for medications or surgical alternatives. Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process, ensuring they remain engaged and proactive in their recovery. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to optimize treatment and monitor patient progress. Regularly document and assess patient care services to measure effectiveness and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Create and offer wellness programs tailored specifically to improve patient strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse demographics, including active adults, athletes, and elderly residents, all requiring individualized rehabilitation and support. Your role will encompass not only treatment but also patient education on maintaining a healthy lifestyle that promotes long-term wellness. Qualifications A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Current and valid Virginia Physical Therapist License with no board actions or disciplinary records. Excellent manual therapy skills paired with a strong understanding of therapeutic exercises. Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment plans. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with an orthopedic outpatient background will have a distinct advantage. Experience in utilizing advanced rehabilitation techniques or modalities will also be beneficial in this role. Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this role ranges from
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
