Position Overview Heartfelt Insights Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team. This position is primarily focused on providing tailored physical therapy services to patients in their homes within Purcellville, Virginia. With an annual salary range ofUSD 80,000

Work Environment This full-time position is onsite, primarily involving travel to patients' homes in and around Purcellville, Virginia. By working in the home care environment, you will be able to establish a personal connection with your patients while assessing their unique needs and crafting rehabilitative strategies tailored to their specific circumstances. The flexible schedule includes Monday to Friday workdays, alongside rotating weekend shifts to accommodate patient care needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, setting achievable goals and developing individualized treatment plans based on physician recommendations. Deliver a range of physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education on injury prevention and pain management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring proper documentation of evaluations, treatment progress, billing information, and discharge plans in accordance with healthcare regulations. Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, ensuring effective collaboration in patient care. Evaluate the effectiveness of provided therapies and interventions, modifying treatment plans as needed to enhance patient outcomes. Engage with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to coordinate and optimize patient care approaches. Participate actively in team meetings, offering relevant insights and suggestions to improve patient care services and departmental efficiency. Patient Population / Client Focus The patients you will serve include individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or debilitating conditions, primarily in a home environment. You will engage with a diverse demographic-ranging from children with developmental issues to elderly clients needing rehabilitation following strokes or joint replacements-tailoring your treatment strategies to their specific physical abilities and health concerns. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university. Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Two or more years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with patients and colleagues. Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic word processing software. Preferred Experience While two years of experience in physical therapy is ideal, we encourage applications from recent graduates or therapists with varied experiences, including home care settings. Candidates with specialized experience in geriatric or pediatric therapy, as well as knowledge of current therapeutic techniques and technologies, will be highly valued.
