Work Environment The physical therapist role at our outpatient practice will primarily take place on-site, allowing for direct interaction with patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. Working collaboratively with a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will focus exclusively on providing high-quality therapy tailored to the needs of each patient. Your standard work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient demographic includes individuals who primarily possess private medical insurance, enabling access to tailored orthopedic treatment services. We specialize in providing care for patients recovering from a range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. As part of your role, you'll develop strong therapeutic relationships with patients, assisting them in setting and achieving their health goals while navigating their recovery journeys. Qualifications Completed a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Possess a valid Physical Therapist license to practice in Virginia, with no outstanding disciplinary actions. Strong skills in manual therapy and the development of effective therapeutic routines.
