Key Responsibilities Provide individualized, one-on-one care, focusing on each patient's unique recovery goals and personal needs. Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to guide treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices. Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's conditions, preferences, and treatment goals. Focus on providing non-surgical, cost-effective treatment options to minimize a reliance on medications when possible. Inspire motivation in patients through encouragement and support to enhance their participation in therapy. Document services provided meticulously using EMR software, specifically proficiency with WebPT for accurate record-keeping. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on outpatient clients, ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to individuals managing chronic conditions affecting mobility. This diverse patient population requires a compassionate approach to care that emphasizes personalized treatment pathways, functional rehabilitation, and education on lifestyle modifications that enhance physical health. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory for application An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with a track record of impeccable practice, free from sanctions or board proceedings. Extensive knowledge of various manual therapy techniques and their application in treatment. Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective exercise programs based on patient-specific needs. Proficiency in using WebPT or other EMR software for accurate documentation and patient management. Strong familiarity with the latest in physiotherapy techniques and trends grounded in research. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in an outpatient environment.
