You'll have the flexibility to choose your own hours within a Monday to Friday schedule, promoting a work-life balance that enhances your effectiveness in delivering patient care. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and provide treatment for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions in a focused, therapeutic setting. Establish and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of rehabilitation techniques, including exercise regimens, hands-on therapy, and the use of therapeutic equipment. Continuously assess patient responses and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet evolving therapeutic goals. Guide patients in using assistive devices, ensuring they gain the skills and confidence needed for self-care and mobility. Educate patients, caregivers, and families on treatment plans, physical therapy techniques, and the use of assistive modalities to promote a collaborative approach to care. Stay abreast of emerging trends in physical therapy through attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, and active participation in professional societies. Patient Population / Client Focus Your expertise will benefit a diverse patient population that includes children, adults, and seniors with varying diagnoses and rehabilitation needs. You will tailor your approach to meet the unique challenges faced by each individual, focusing on enhancing their mobility, pain relief, and overall quality of life through effective therapy interventions. Qualifications Completion of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) Current valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia. Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for patient interaction and documentation. Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and therapy management. Strong adaptability and flexibility in work approach to accommodate patient needs. Preferred Experience While prior clinical experience is preferred, it is not mandatory for new graduates motivated to learn and grow within our team. Experience in home care settings is a plus but not required. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
