Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing in-person physical therapy services to students in a school-based setting. This contract position supports the academic environment through expert physical therapy interventions, helping students achieve their fullest potential. This role offers the ideal blend of professional development and flexible scheduling, allowing you to practice your clinical skills two days per week (0.4 FTE) with flexibility on the specific days you choose.
Key Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Washington state Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Proven ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans Strong collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and documentation abilities Able to adapt interventions to a diverse range of student abilities and needs
Position Highlights:
Deliver in-person physical therapy services tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) Evaluate students to identify PT needs and set functional, educationally relevant goals Develop and execute interventions to improve mobility, gross motor skills, strength, and independence Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Document all assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress review This in-person, part-time contract opportunity is located near Bothell, WA. The schedule is approximately 0.4 FTE, or two full days each week, with flexibility in selecting which days work best for your availability.
