Empower students with your expertise as a Physical Therapist in a supportive educational setting for the upcoming spring term. This onsite contract role offers you the flexibility to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time (2-3 days/week) with a focus on serving K-12 students across two school sites. From January 4th to April 15th, 2027, you will collaborate with a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help address a caseload of approximately 44 students.
Key Qualifications:
Active Washington Physical Therapist (PT) License ESA Certification Experience in pediatric, school-based, or related physical therapy settings is highly valued Ability to develop rapport with children and adolescents Strong documentation and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to K-12 students, supporting their mobility, access, and participation Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions based on student needs Work closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress toward IEP goals Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Supervise and collaborate with a full-time PTA to ensure quality care and consistency
