Job Description

Step into a dynamic school-based setting, providing integrated therapy services as a Physical Therapist. This rewarding contract position spans elementary through high school populations, offering the opportunity to support K-12 students in reaching their fullest potential. With onsite roles available, both full-time and flexible part-time (2-3 days per week) scheduling can be accommodated. Youll collaborate closely with a dedicated PTA and a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on a manageable caseload of up to 44 students split between two school sites. Ideal candidates are passionate about fostering student independence, movement, and confidence in an educational environment. Creativity and adaptability will help you tailor interventions that promote access and participation for every child.
Qualifications:
Valid Washington State Physical Therapist License ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification Previous school-based experience preferred but not required Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care Role responsibilities: Evaluate student needs and develop meaningful, goal-oriented treatment plans Deliver individual and group PT services aligned with IEPs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Supervise a full-time PTA for ongoing caseload support Maintain accurate and timely documentation Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions As part of this assignment, youll enjoy competitive weekly pay, robust health, dental, and vision insurance options, and access to a 401(k) retirement plan to support your future.
