Key Qualifications:

Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Washington State Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment preferred Knowledge of therapy protocols for students with moderate to severe disabilities Ability to travel between multiple school locations during the workweek Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families Adaptability, organizational skills, and a compassionate, student-focused approach

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct itinerant physical therapy services for students ages PK-12 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes Assess motor skills, functional mobility, and recommend appropriate interventions Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy activities, progress notes, and reports Serve as a resource to school teams regarding adaptive equipment and accessible environments Regularly travel between multiple sites as assigned (16 hours/week) This role offers the opportunity to foster independence and participation for students with significant needs, while working in a supportive and dynamic educational setting.
