Job Description

Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient Orthopedics VBeyond Healthcare is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Port Orchard, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist looking to gain experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting while working with a supportive clinical team. 36 hours guaranteed per week, with expectation to work up to 40 hours
Setting:
Outpatient Orthopedics Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities, mobility, and rehabilitation needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, clinical findings, and functional limitations. Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence. Treat approximately 12-14 patients per day in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment. Manage a productivity expectation of approximately 60 visits per week . Utilize double-booking for follow-up visits as expected by the clinic. Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program . Current and active Washington State Physical Therapist (PT) license . Previous outpatient orthopedic experience. Strong clinical assessment, treatment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a fast-paced patient caseload effectively. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care. Strong commitment to providing high-quality rehabilitation services. First-time travelers are welcome. New graduates are not accepted. PTA candidates will not be considered.
