9673479-98290 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist working with students with moderate to severe disabilities in a dynamic school-based setting. This itinerant position allows you to make a meaningful impact across multiple school sites near Snohomish, WA, providing targeted support to students who need it most. With a part-time schedule of 16 hours per week and an ASAP start date through the end of the school year, you'll play a crucial role in fostering student independence and growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Washington Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatrics strongly preferred Knowledgeable about working with students who have moderate to severe disabilities Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as part of an itinerant role
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students physical therapy needs within the educational environment Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support students IEP goals Deliver interventions designed to promote student mobility, motor skills, and access to the school environment Work closely with educators, support staff, and families for holistic care Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of various students and settings
