Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling in-person role supporting students' growth and independence as a Physical Therapist in a school-based setting near Snohomish, WA. This contract position offers the flexibility of working approximately .4 FTE, or around 2 days each week, with scheduling adaptable to fit your preferred days.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students with diverse needs in a school environment Assess, evaluate, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, families, and other therapy providers Document student progress and maintain accurate records following school and regulatory guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and advocacy for appropriate interventions and accommodations Educate staff and families on therapy goals, adaptive strategies, and supportive activities Contribute to a collaborative, positive educational experience for all students
Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Washington State Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based physical therapy Understanding of IEP processes and school documentation standards Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to multiple school sites, settings, and diverse student populations Energetic, creative approach to therapy and student interaction This position prioritizes work-life balance, with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to tailor your days onsite.
