1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of outpatient orthopedic experience for a 13-week assignment. Details Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting Treatment rooms surround a large gym space Schedule is 4x10-hour days, Monday-Friday, 2 days 7am-5pm and 2 days 7am-6pm 60-minute one-on-one sessions with no overlapping patients Epic charting experience preferred Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience required, with outpatient clinic experience BLS certification required WI Physical Therapist license preferred; license required if applicable Pending WI or Compact license accepted, must be obtained during compliance Experience treating orthopedic conditions including ankle sprains, DDD, DJD, frozen shoulder, hip and knee injuries, low back pain, and post-op cervical, shoulder, and spinal surgeries Skilled in gait training, extremity mobilization, spinal mobilization, and use of crutches, gait belts, and standard walkers Experience with geriatric and orthopedic patient populations Proficient in documentation including evaluations, assessments, plans of care, and discharge planning Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, home exercise program development, and patient/family education Facility cannot accommodate travelers with latex allergies Travel pairs accepted Open to first-time travelers Local candidates accepted at a lower rate Previous travelers may return only after a minimum 1-year separation from the facility
