Family Service Madison, Inc. seeks a full-time or part-time Early Intervention Physical Therapist for our Bridges for Families Birth to 3 Program. The Early Intervention Physical Therapist actively participates in relationship-based early intervention through the use of Evidence-Based Natural Learning Practices to enhance the development of infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities, and to enhance the capacity of families and other care providers to provide ongoing learning opportunities for these children throughout daily activities and routines.

Qualifications:

Degree in Physical Therapy and registration under Ch. 448.51, Stats. Valid WI license (or temporary license while actively pursuing licensure) Intervention/teaching experience with infants and toddlers

Knowledge:

Broad knowledge of general development in infants and toddlers including children with and without developmental delays with expertise in the area of gross motor development Knowledge of intervention in natural environments An understanding of the importance of providing a range of services for young children with disabilities and their families

Wage:
