Job Description
We are looking for an individual to fill the position of a physical therapist aide at our Atascadero clinic. 16-24 hours/week. The aide works along side a physical therapist to help provide exercises and modalities to patients, such as, electrical stimulation, ultrasounds, and hot/cool packs. They are also responsible for keeping the flow of the patients at the clinic consistent throughout the day. This position is oriented towards individuals who are wanting to gain experience in the healthcare field or are working for hours needed to apply to physical therapy school. Communication and people skills are essential, between the aide, therapists, and patients. Having the ability to be cross trained for a variety of duties is a plus. No experience is needed as most of the learning will be done on the job. However, a background in kinesiology, physiology, or exercise would be beneficial. Please contact us for further questions.
