Job Summary:
This position is accountable for performing patient-related tasks and non-patient related tasks under the continuous and immediate supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to demonstrate clear oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work. Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships to ensure a positive and productive work environment. Ability to provide exceptional customer service. PC competency, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Essential Functions:
Arrange treatment supplies to keep them in order. Change linens, such as bed sheets and pillow cases. Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment. Confer with physical therapy staff or others to discuss treatment. Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly. Transport patients to and from treatment areas, using wheelchairs or providing standing support. Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. College level course work in kinesiology, physical therapy, or healthcare related field preferred. Two years' experience as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred. Inpatient experience preferred.
Required Licenses/Certification:
Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Salary range:
$25.00
Hours:
8-hour shifts
