Working under the supervision of physical therapists, aides perform non-medical tasks, such as setting up and cleaning treatment rooms and transporting patients to different areas of a health care facility. They typically are responsible for setting up equipment and maintaining a clean and functional area for treatments and exercises. Preferably Bilingual Responsibilities Instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities, under direction of medical staff Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on patients' responses and progress, and report to physical therapist Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment
