We are seeking a motivated and dependable Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a physical therapy, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting and be comfortable assisting with patient care in a busy outpatient environment. Spanish-speaking ability is preferred to help us effectively communicate with our diverse patient population. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain additional hands-on experience while working closely with physical therapists and other rehabilitation professionals. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient care activities under appropriate supervision Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions Assist and guide patients through therapist-directed exercises and activities Monitor patients during activities and promptly communicate concerns to the treating therapist Clean and maintain equipment and treatment areas Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment Assist with patient flow and clinic operations Provide professional and courteous customer service to patients and their families Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients when applicable Follow clinic policies, safety procedures, and patient privacy requirements Qualifications / Experience Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Aide/Technician or in a physical therapy or rehabilitation setting is preferred Spanish-speaking/bilingual candidates are preferred Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology Experience in outpatient orthopedics, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, geriatrics, or other healthcare settings is beneficial Strong interpersonal and patient-service skills Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a healthcare team Dependable, professional, organized, and willing to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
