About the Position Valley Foot & Ankle Specialty Providers is looking for a part-time Physical Therapy Aide( Spanish Speaking) to support our physical therapy team and assist patients throughout their visits. This is a hands-on support position for someone who enjoys working directly with people and helping a busy therapy clinic stay organized and running smoothly. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will work alongside our licensed Physical Therapists to prepare treatment areas, assist patients with therapist-directed exercises, maintain equipment and supplies, and help create a comfortable experience from the beginning to the end of each visit. We're looking for someone who is dependable, approachable, and able to stay attentive to both patient needs and the day-to-day needs of the clinic. Because we serve a diverse patient population, Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred. What You'll Be Doing Help patients complete exercises and activities as instructed by the treating Physical Therapist Prepare treatment tables, exercise stations, and equipment for upcoming appointments Clean and reset treatment areas between patients Assist patients during mobility, walking, and balance activities when directed Set up basic treatment supplies, including hot and cold packs Sanitize therapy equipment and maintain a clean, orderly clinic throughout the day Keep track of commonly used supplies and restock items when needed Help patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported during their appointments Assist the front office with phones, scheduling, or other basic administrative tasks when additional support is needed Communicate with therapists and other team members to help maintain an efficient patient flow Working With Our Patients A successful Physical Therapy Aide understands that the patient experience goes beyond completing exercises. You will interact with patients throughout the day and should be comfortable communicating with people of different ages, backgrounds, and mobility levels. You will also be expected to follow clinic safety procedures, protect patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, and maintain a professional and respectful environment at all times. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred Previous Physical Therapy Aide, Rehabilitation Technician, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working directly with patients Ability to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities in a busy outpatient setting Dependable and proactive with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn and take direction from licensed Physical Therapists Team-oriented attitude and a commitment to providing a positive patient experience If you're looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a physical therapy setting while working with a supportive clinical team, we encourage you to apply for our Physical Therapy Aide position.
