In this energetic position, you will assist licensed physical therapists by preparing treatment areas, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth clinical environment. Duties Assist physical therapists with patient preparation, including setting up equipment and ensuring patient comfort during therapy sessions Support patient care activities by monitoring patient progress and reporting observations to licensed staff Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, therapy tools, and medical supplies to ensure safety and efficiency Help with patient intake procedures, including documenting basic information and assisting with initial assessments Manage scheduling logistics for therapy sessions and coordinate patient flow within the clinic or hospital environment Provide exceptional patient service by offering encouragement, answering basic questions, and ensuring a positive experience Support administrative tasks such as recording treatment details, restocking supplies, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations Qualifications Prior hospital or clinical experience is highly desirable, especially in outpatient or inpatient settings involving orthopedics, geriatrics, or post-acute care Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to effectively assist in therapy sessions Experience working with diverse patient populations including elderly or those in sub-acute care environments Demonstrated commitment to patient service and compassionate care delivery Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a proactive approach to supporting licensed professionals Familiarity with hospital procedures related to intake, acute care, hospital medicine, or outpatient services is a plus Excellent communication skills combined with a positive attitude that fosters trust and comfort among patients Embark on a rewarding career journey where your energy fuels healing!
