Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient preparation, including setting up equipment and ensuring proper positioning for therapy sessions Support patients during exercises and manual handling activities, adhering to proper transfer methods and safety protocols Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment activities while respecting patient confidentiality Help with the organization and cleanliness of therapy areas, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, reporting any concerns or adverse reactions to the supervising therapist Facilitate patient intake procedures by gathering preliminary information and assisting with mobility assessments Support rehabilitation care by assisting with post-acute care activities, including geriatrics, orthopedics, and inpatient services Qualifications Prior experience practicing in a physical therapy or healthcare support role is highly preferred Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient transfer methods Experience working in hospital or acute care settings, especially in inpatient or post-acute environments Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting and supporting patient mobility safely Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients of diverse backgrounds and explaining procedures clearly Knowledge of CPR certification and familiarity with rehabilitation techniques for geriatrics and orthopedics Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality while providing compassionate care in fast-paced settings Join us to be part of a team committed to advancing patient recovery through energetic support and expert assistance.
