Mission Statement:
Rehab Specialists Physical Therapy, Inc. is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at our Marina del Rey clinic. Our practice includes clinicians specializing in orthopedics, pelvic floor therapy, aquatic therapy, chronic pain management, lymphedema treatment, and athletic training. We are looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions to expand their clinical knowledge and experience. The ideal candidate can commit to consistent hours, as consistency supports both patient care and hands-on learning. Individuals planning to pursue careers in physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, or physician assistant programs are encouraged to apply. We also offer a Volunteer-to-Hire Program for candidates who have not previously worked as a Physical Therapy Aide. However, candidates with sufficient experience may qualify to begin directly in the aide role.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists with patient care during treatment sessions Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use Help set up therapeutic equipment and support patients during exercises Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments using WebPT Communicate effectively with patients and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a positive patient experience
Requirements:
Previous Physical Therapy Aide experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace Strong communication and customer service skills Interest in pursuing a career as a
Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physician Assistant, or Medical Doctor Job Types:
